The Miami Country Day School chapter of the Jewish Student Connection recently hosted a Lunch and Learn with guest speaker Irene Waller, a noted educator who has taught in locations as diverse as Canada and Japan. Her presentation focused on Chiune Sugihara, a Japanese diplomat who arranged for exit visas for over 6,000 Jewish families during World War II.
