The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors has appointed attorney Andrew Friedman to the Commission on Local Government Services. L.A. County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich presented the motion of appointment.

Friedman currently serves as a hearing officer for the Los Angeles County Employee Relations Commission and as a special adviser to L.A. County Sheriff Lee Baca. A former fire commissioner for the City of Los Angeles and member of the Police Permit Review Panel, Friedman is active in the Los Angeles Jewish community as president of Congregation Bais Naftoli and with the Hungarian community as an adviser to Consul General Laszlo Kalman of Hungary.

For the past 42 years, Friedman has been managing partner of the Friedman Law Offices.
