We’re always looking to make something “different.” Something that looks impressive, tastes amazing, and if we’re lucky doesn’t have us slaving away in the kitchen the entire day. This crowd-pleasing salmon dish is just that. Just a few simple ingredients and short prep time pay off in a huge way. I love to present this as an entire side of salmon. There’s just something so beautiful and special about serving the entire side for everyone to dig into and share. If you prefer fillets, adjust cooking time to 17 minutes. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
Ingredients:
1 side of salmon (roughly 3 lbs.)
1 cup balsamic vinegar
¼ cup sugar
⅓ cup dill
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Sprinkle salt and pepper generously on salmon.
In a separate saucepan, combine balsamic vinegar and sugar over medium low heat until the mixture is reduced by half and is syrupy.
Spread balsamic mixture over salmon.
Bake at 400° for 25-27 minutes.
Remove salmon from oven and immediately sprinkle dill all over salmon.
Serve either warm or at room temperature.
