Need gloves that can withstand even hotter temperatures? No worries, Grill Armor has you covered with gloves that can withstand heat up to 662°F. These machine-washable gloves are not waterproof but their kevlar-like insulation makes it impossible for them to catch fire or melt when exposed to an open flame. Even better, they come in three different sizing options, including extra long cuffs for those who want a little extra protection and ladies sizes so that female grillers don’t feel like they are wearing clown hands when they are making culinary magic on the grill.

Is there anything more annoying than running out of propane mid-barbeque, with a house full of hungry people – you’ll find yourself manically transferring all of your food into the oven so that you aren’t serving your guests raw steak. There are dozens of gadgets on the market that will let you know just how much propane you have left. Some are pressure-based, others run on batteries and there is even a device that works in conjunction with your smart phone. But sometimes less is more, which is the logic behind Grill Gauge, a simple hook device calibrated for a standard 20-pound propane tank. Essentially a mini scale, Grill Gauge weighs the propane tank, giving you the ability to see how much gas you have left. Because it is lightweight and portable, you can also take Grill Gauge with you when you go to refill your tank so that you can make sure that when you pay for a full tank of gas, you actually get one. You do have to detach your propane tank from your grill for an accurate reading, but according to Don Martin of Grill Gauge, customers don’t seem to mind that small inconvenience and Martin says, that he has sold over 60,000 of the devices, with only three returns in five years.

Last but not least, my search through grilling items left me looking for something innovative and different and I found exactly that in the Nordicware 365 Campfire and Stovetop Popcorn Popper.   This cool pan comes with a seriously long handle, so that you can pop popcorn on your grill or over a campfire, as well as in your kitchen. Comprised of a Teflon-coated, wok-shaped pan with a long handle, you just add popcorn kernels, oil and salt to the pan and shake intermittently over your heat source until your popcorn is done. In a really nice touch, the Nordicware Popper’s domed mesh lid doubles as a serving bowl, so that you and everyone at your table can devour that fresh hot popcorn the moment it comes off the grill.

Happy grilling everyone!
