The amazing Allison Joseph of Jewinthecity is a hip and happening blogger who makes Orthodoxy seem cool. Chabad programs are becoming increasingly youth-oriented and are huge amounts of fun. Still, there needs to be more and it has to start at an early age. We need programs that give meaningful Jewish experiences to families, and that go from toddlerhood past college. Judaism needs to be a positive, meaningful and bright source of identity filled with happy memories.

So no, Anna Breslaw isn’t the problem. The problem is that Jewish youth of today are lacking education, and meaningful experiences of Judaism that don’t revolve around “They came to kill us, they failed, let’s eat.”
