IDF forces under the command of the Givati Brigade carried out a targeted raid overnight Thursday using tanks in the territory of the northern Gaza Strip, as part of the preparation of the area for the next stages of combat.
As part of the activity, the forces located and attacked many terrorists, destroyed terrorist infrastructure and anti-tank positions, and carried out works to set up the area. The troops left the area at the end of the mission.
In the north, at 11:23 PM, the air defense fighters intercepted a surface-to-air missile that was launched from Lebanese territory at a remote manned aircraft of the IDF.
Earlier, at 9:05 PM, IDF warplanes attacked several Hezbollah military targets in Lebanon. During the attack, terrorist infrastructures were destroyed, including a military compound and an observation post.
At 7:54 PM, an IDF aircraft attacked a terrorist squad that was trying to fire from Lebanese territory toward Israeli territory near Moshav Dovev in upper Galilea. In addition, a terrorist cell was identified in the Arab al Aramsha area on the Lebanese border, and IDF tanks attacked the cell. Also on Wednesday, IDF forces attacked the cell that launched an anti-tank missile from Lebanese territory at the IDF force near Avivim.
