Israeli Shavuot Festivals Focus on Agricultural Produce

    A typical Shavuot celebration in Israel on the kibbutzim and moshavim (farms in Israel) focuses on the harvest.  There are special family activities with lots of fun for the kids related to agriculture inspired by the practice of bringing first fruits (bikkurim) to the Beit HaMikdash (Temple in Jerusalem).  This short video gives a flavor of the type of Shavuot celebrations found on farm communities all over Israel.
