Updated: Arabs Stabs Jew at Entrance to Old City

On Tuesday evening, two Arabs stabbed a Haredi Jew near Sha'ar Shechem (Damascus Gate), one of the entrances to the Old City of Jerusalem. The 35 year old man was stabbed in the stomach, chest and back, and was taken to Shaarei Tzedek Hospital in serious condition by MDA. The man was on his way home after completing his prayers at the Kotel.

Security forces have not yet captured the attacker(s).

Attacks on Jews, in and around the Old City become more common during Ramadan.
