Paul (Moshe) Reichmann, A”H

The Jewish Press joins Klal Yisrael in mourning the passing of Paul (Moshe) Reichmann, who emerged in the 1980s as the era’s foremost patron of yeshivas and Orthodox organizations in Israel, Canada and the United States.

Mr. Reichmann headed the multi-billion dollar Olympia & York real estate enterprise which, until suffering economic setbacks in the early 1990s, was one of the major commercial landlords in New York City. He was equally renowned for his commitment to the Jewish people, personal integrity, self-effacing demeanor, modest lifestyle and unswerving fealty to Jewish religious law.
