Biur Chametz

No, it's not another Haredi protest against the draft.

In these photos, we are seeing the traditional burning of the Chametz (leavened bread), that Jews do on the day of Passover.

As part of the ceremony, any leavened bread that might still accidentally be in one's possession is declared owner-less.

For some reason, I'm reminded of Lag B'Omer.
