2-Year-Old Arab Boy Shot During Arab Terror Attack [Updated]

An Arab terror attack against an IDF position and the town of Neve Tzuf/Halamish, left two Arabs wounded, including a 2-year-old child, on Thursday evening.

Two Arab terrorists began shooting toward the IDF position and the town for the space of a few minutes. At which point, the IDF shot back a few times towards the source of the gunfire. But during the exchange of fire with the terrorists, an Arab family drove through the nearby traffic circle which was close to where the terrorists were shooting from. The family had gone there to get medical assistance for their sick child.

The IDF now suspects the car was hit by the IDF return fire at the terrorists, in which a 2-year-old Arab boy was shot in the head and a 40-year-old man in the upper body. It was initially believed the terrorists had hit the car directly when they first opened fire.

A Red Crescent ambulance team began treating the child and MDA is treated the adult male. But due to the severity of the wounds, the child has been taken by IDF helicopter to Sheba Tel Hashomer Hospital. The man is seriously wounded and was evacuated by the Red Crescent.
