Guards for the Jerusalem Light Rail noticed an Arab man acting suspiciously at the train stop at French Hill, just before 11 AM on Thursday.
Police and guards approached the 28-year-old man from Shuafat and upon checking him found a very large knife in his jacket.
The man was brought to the police station for further questioning.
