Hundreds of Intel employees were evacuated \from the chip giant’s factory Ireland early Tuesday morning after an anonymous caller phoned with a bomb threat.ory
Investigators are searching the factory for bombs and other suspicious objects.
Intel employs approximately 4,000 people at the factory in Leixlip, but it is not known how many were at the site when the evacuation began.
Intel also has a large operation in southern Israel and announced last year it will spend another $6 million to expand manufacturing capabilities.
