Border Police officers stopped a potential terror attack on Wednesday afternoon.

A Border Police lookout at the Salem checkpoint near Jenin reported hearing some sort of popping sound. They sent another Border Police patrol to check it out.

The patrol approached the area and spotted 4 suspicious Arabs and discovered they all had pipe bombs on them.

The four, all residents of Shechem (Nablus) told the officers they planned to attack Israeli security personnel.

The pipe bombs were neutralized. The terrorists were handed over to the Shabak for interrogation.
