A fireman died and around 15-20 more firemen were injured in a HAZMAT incident at the Hod Hefer meat factory in Emek Hefer.
A damaged ammonia holding tank released 8 tons of ammonia. The firemen eventually sealed the leak.
The ammonia is used by the slaughter house for cooling.
