Hamas Rocket Blows Up Midair

Initial reports said a rocket launched by Hamas in northern Gaza early Sunday morning blew up in midair on its way towards the Ashkelon coastal region.

No injuries or damage were reported in Israel.

The rocket alert did not sound as the rocket exploded early in its flight.

Update: The rocket was found in Israeli territory.
