IDF: One-Third of Gaza Rockets Destroyed

Security officials said Tuesday that Israel does not have the ability to completely defeat Palestinian terror. The official told Israel Radio that Israel expects following Operation Protective Edge to create true deterrence for an extended period of time, during which Hamas will have difficulty restoring its infrastructure and operation capabilities.

The report said that IDF successfully destroyed 3,000 of the 9,000 rockets that Hamas possessed on the eve of the operation, and that the IDF has a long list of additional targets to attack.
