Following claims by Hamas that the IDF killed Ibrahim Abu Thurayeh a crippled man who participated in a violent protest against Israel in Gaza on December 15 2017, a number of interesting facts have come to light, publicized by the blogger Elder of Zion.

All claims that Thurayeh was shot and killed by the IDF have emanated solely from the Hamas terror group.

Following an IDF investigation, General Yoav "Poli" Mordechai, head of the IDF's COGAT unit, posted in Arabic on Facebook that there is no basis for Hamas's claim that Ibrahim Abu Thurayeh was killed by IDF live fire.

Mordechai called on the Red Cross to share data with Israel in order to arrive at the truth. He said we will put an end to the tale of lies that incite to violence.

Hamas announced they won't let the Red Cross investigate Thurayeh's death. What is Hamas hiding?
