Importing Electric Buses will be Tariff Free

Finance Minister Moshe Kachlon signed an order allowing the import of electric buses without any import tariffs. The order will be in place for the next four years.

The order reduces the current import tax from 7% to zero, according to a report in Globes.

Most buses in Israel run on diesel fuel, and migrating to electric buses will reduce environmental and noise pollution.
