Demonstrators braved stormy weather Tuesday to demonstrate against the Iranian regime outside the Old City of Jerusalem.

Among the protestors was Neda Amin, an Iranian journalist and human rights activist who was granted entry to Israel from Turkey on humanitarian grounds in August. She is currently seeking permanent residency in the Jewish State.

“We came here to protest the Iranian regime; I am Iranian and I want a free Iran,” Amin told Tazpit Press Service (TPS).

“It’s a protest against Iran’s dictatorial regime that is killing and oppressing people. We want a free Iran, we don’t want [Supreme Leader Ali] Khamenei, we don’t want an Islamic republic. Free Iran. Death to Khamenei.”

Some 21 people are believed to have been killed in the past several days of anti-regime protests throughout Iran.
