Mortar Fire from Rafah in Gaza

Mortar fire awakened southern Israeli residents just a few hundred meters from the Gaza border on Monday night.

Two mortar shells were reportedly fired from the southern Gaza city of Rafah and exploded within the borders of the region run by the Hamas terror organization.

The motive and identity of the group behind the shell fire was not known.
