The rocket alerts began going off in the Negev region at 3:38 AM, Wednesday morning, quickly followed by a rocket from Gaza which hit a home in Be'er Sheva.

Emergency medical personnel treated a 39-year-old woman and her three children, ages 9, 10 and 12, for shock, according to MDA.

The family had entered the bomb shelter as soon as the sirens went off. The rocket then hit their home right after they closed the door.

The building was damaged, but no one from the family was physically injured.

It appears that a Grad missile hit the home.

Two more Be'er Sheva residents were also treated for paramedics. A neighbor in her 50s had a light head injury, and a man in his 40s, elsewhere in Be'er Sheva, fell and injured himself as he was running to the bomb shelter.

A second rocket was launched from Gaza, but that one landed in the sea.

As a result of the serious attack, the Be'er Sheva municipality decided to cancel school today.
