Traces of the wild polio virus have been found in Jerusalem sewage system, according to reports on Monday.

The government has gone on a campaign to inoculate the children of Israel using the oral polio vaccine (OPV) after traces were found in Israel's south. So far more than 700,000 children have been inoculated.

OPV is considered controversial, as it is based on a weakened, but live virus, instead of the dead virus.
