De Blasio’s ‘Contract With America’ Heavily Tinged By Socialist And Communist Ideology
Last week, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio unveiled a 13-point national “Progressive Agenda” that is being touted as the liberal “Contract with America.” The aim is for the “Progressive Agenda” to become the basis for the Democratic Party’s economic policies, including those of its 2016 presidential candidate. KleinOnline, however, has found that most of the 13 points in de Blasio’s “Progressive Agenda” can also be found in the manifestos and literature of the Communist Party USA and the Socialist Party USA. Here is a comparison of the Agenda’s plan with literature from the manifestos and writings of the Community Party USA, or CPUSA, and the Socialist Party USA, or SPUSA.- Progressive Agenda:“Raise the federal minimum wage, so that it reaches $15/hour, while indexing it to inflation.”
- Progressive Agenda:“Reform the National Labor Relations Act, to enhance workers’ right to organize and rebuild the middle class.”
- Progressive Agenda:“Pass comprehensive immigration reform to grow the economy and protect against exploitation of low-wage workers.”
- Progressive Agenda:Pass national paid sick leave. Pass national paid family leave.
- Progressive Agenda:“Make Pre-K, after-school programs and childcare universal.”

Yemen Rebels Receive Scud Missiles From Iran
Despite the presence of the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt off the coast of Yemen, the Iranians succeeded in smuggling Scud B and C missiles to the rebels fighting in Yemen, Jordanian security officials told this reporter. The security officials described the possession of the missiles by the Iranian-backed Houthi rebels as potentially game-changing and as a direct threat to the Saudi kingdom and its oil fields. While the Scuds have not yet been used, the Shiite Houthi rebels already escalated tensions with the Saudis on Tuesday when they fired rockets into Saudi Arabia, killing at least three people.
