Self Destructive Behavior

Arabs in Shuafat spent the weekend destroying the Jerusalem Light Rail's infrastructure.

In the photo above, you can can see an Arab cutting down the electric pole that supplies electricity to the train. Arabs also both uprooted tracks, and poured concrete into the tracks to the tune of tens of millions of shekels of damage.

Israel is now weighing constructing an alternative route that avoids these Arab neighborhoods.

The train continues to run, but stops short of those neighborhoods.

What is most fascinating about this behavior is that from all Jerusalem combined, 1/3 of the passengers that use and rely on the train are from the Arab neighborhoods of Shuafat and Beit Hanina.

Even more fascinating is that, I believe, approximately half the workers on the Jerusalem Light Rail are Arabs.

Arabs also make up 100% of the population that has been throwing stones at the train since it went into operation.

This self-destructive Arab behavior is evident as Israeli-Arabs around the country try to foment a civil war, a war that will only bring misery down upon themselves.
