Significant Improvement in Jerusalem Central Bus Station Guard

Sharei Tzedek Hospital reports that there is significant improvement in the condition of Asher Elmaliach. On Sunday, Elmaliach began to breath on his own without a respirator and was interacting with his environment.

Elmaliach was stabbed in the heart on Dec. 10, 2017, by an Arab terrorist trying to get into Jerusalem's Central Bus Station. Elmaliach was checking the terrorist's ID when the terrorist pulled out the knife and stabbed him.

Elmaliach was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Within 15 minutes of the attack he was in the operating room and the doctors managed to save his life.

Elmaliach is still being kept in the ICU.
