The Economic Research Department of the Israel Hotels Association recently published data for February 2019 on hotel stays compared with the same period over the past two years, and the evidence is clear: Incoming tourism to Israel is decidedly on the rise, and Chinese tourists are helping make it happen.
Roundtrip fares will start from $622 in tourist class, and $2582 in business class. The flight will last for almost 11 hours on Boeing Dreamliners.
In the last year, there has been a dramatic increase in the number of tourists and business people visiting Israel from China.
The link between the Israeli and Chinese peoples is an ancient one, dating from the Jewish community in Kaifeng a thousand years ago.
47,000 Chinese tourists visited Israel ( 以色列 ) last year, and the Tourism Ministry hopes that figure will reach 100,000 by the year 2018.
