“Tax-exempt status is a privilege, not a right, and in exchange, organizations must operate for stated exempt purposes,” stated Rep. Jason Smith, chair of the House Ways and Means Committee.
Unless an organization has political juice, neither the Democrats or the Republicans care when a group of Americans have had their constitutional rights violated by a U.S. government agency.
The first court hearing for the IRS since the scandal began is this Friday. IRS documents released by congress should constitute admissions by the IRS proving the pro-Israel organization's claim that the IRS engaged in viewpoint discrimination.
