“The committee chose to support a wide range of projects dealing with the challenges of coronavirus because the fight against the pandemic needs to be waged on multiple fronts,” according to the Ministry of Economics and Industry.
The CanNegev center will be located in Yeruham and will admit six start-ups from the medical cannabis sector per year for the first five years of the center’s operation.
Awards were presented to 423 Israeli companies and researchers that won Horizon 2020 grants in 2018.
