Julio Acevedo, the driver of a car in an accident that killed Satmar Chassidim Nachman Glauber and his pregnant wife Raizy in Brooklyn was charged with manslaughter. Julio Acevedo was arraigned in state Supreme Court in Brooklyn and was ordered held without bail.
He said he fled the scene because he was afraid of being killed by his pursuers, and didn’t know the couple had been killed until he saw it in newspapers.
