A high-tech team in Israel says it's developed a new type of gauze that can stop bleeding in minutes. Researchers say when the gauze touches blood, it changes its molecular structure into a gel which adheres to and puts pressure on the wound. They say the gauze can absorb 25 times its own weight.
Dr. Nachmi Paz, 71, director of Sapir College in Sderot, was wounded Friday in a rocket barrage launched by terrorists in Gaza.
