Being a Torah Observant Jew is not easy. It’s a choice that requires sacrifices. It requires looking downright bizarre at times, to the rest of the world. Sometimes it means not only giving up everything we’ve ever known culturally, but also unfortunately, losing close friends and family connections.

On Today’s leap of Faith, I’ll be speaking with Judy Gruen who describes for us how she had to look her beliefs in the face and be open to new understandings which eventually led her to embrace Torah observance.

Judy Gruen is a writer and regular contributor on Aish.com as well the author of several books, the most recent of which is her memoir called, “The Skeptic and the Rabbi: Falling in Love with Faith.”
