Throwing Shoes and Losing Wars

I don't know if Yehuda Glick also caught the irony, when he caught the shoe that was thrown at him on the Temple Mount.

After throwing her shoe at him, the Arab lady demanded he return it.

Doesn't that eerily remind you of all of Israel's wars with the Arabs? First the Arabs attack Israel, then they lose, then they demand Israel surrenders all the land they lost to us, in the wars they started. It's very symbolic.

Wouldn't it have been smarter to not have thrown the shoe in the first place?
