Trial of Accused American Front Leader Starts

The trial of Marcus Faella, 40, the alleged ringleader of the American Front, a white supremacist group that was training at a compound in the rural area of St. Cloud, is set to begin on Monday at the Osceola County, FL, courthouse.

The American Front is an antisemitic militia with paramilitary training. Its members have been accused of racially motivated crimes.

All 13 defendants in the case, except Faella, have either had their charges dropped or they plea bargained. Faella is the only one who decided to claim his innocence in court.

Police say the group was planning a race war and an attack on city hall.
