U-S-A !!!

Just like in the women's, the men's final in Basketball in this year's Maccabiah games was a rematch from the preliminaries – USA vs. Argentina. But this time, the American team learned the lesson from its loss to Argentina earlier in the tournament, and won 87:76. Argentina got the silver and Israel the bronze after beating France.

Leading the American team was Danny Rubin with 25 points, one assist and 5 rebounds. The US coach Brad Grinberg said in the end of the game: "These guys are great. This entire tournament was amazing, I got extraordinary players, they enjoyed the games and will take great memories from their time in Israel."
