Unexploded Mortar Found on Beach

An unexploded mortar was found on a beach in Rishon Letzion on Saturday afternoon by lifeguards and city security inspectors during a routine inspection.

Police sappers defused the live explosive in a controlled explosion.

The source of mortar was not clarified.
