In the initial year of the Yeshiva University (YU) Center for the Jewish Future’s Certificate Program in Experiential Jewish Education, the program’s second seminar, “Creating Experiences,” took place recently at the Camp Shalom institute in Malibu. The group’s participants consist of a cross-section of 20 practicing and emerging educators from across the Jewish denominations, working in settings ranging from classrooms to campuses, camps and community centers. They will explore cutting-edge methodologies, models and techniques for creating powerful Jewish experiences.
