20 Injured in Yemen Defense Ministry Explosion

A large explosion at the Defense Ministry complex in the capital Sanaa Thursday morning has wounded 20 people, many seriously, AP reports.

Military officials said the blast blew out windows and doors of homes and offices in the vicinity of the complex.

The officials are not certain what caused the explosion, which resulted in a cloud of black smoke that covered the area.
