Rav Chaim Halpern In L.A. Yeshiva Visit

HaGaon HaRav Chaim Halpern, rosh yeshiva of Ohr Joseph in Novardok, France, visited Yeshiva Aharon Yaakov-Ohr Eliyahu in the Fairfax District of Los Angeles. He enjoyed the boys’ davening and spoke to them about the wonderful opportunity the children have of being able to learn Torah, an opportunity he didn’t have while in concentration camps.

After surviving 14 different camps, Rav Halpern has dedicated the next 65 years to building the Ohr Joseph Jewish Education Empire in France, which includes 40 different educational institutions.
