How to Honor the Fallen on Tu B'Shvat

Over the past year, 12,000 fruit trees were planted around the Gaza border for each of the 1,200  victims. Tragically, during this time, 600 of israel's bravest heroic IDF soldiers gave their lives defending Israel's survival.

Beginning this Tu B'Shvat, Zo Artzeinu – IsraelTrees.org we will helping plant 18,000 new fruit across Israel. They gave their lives for us! Together, we will plant trees to honor their memory and  create NEW life! All the mitzvos, will be le'ilui nishmat our fallen heroes and victims.

Each tree on the map marks a location of a recent or upcoming planting.

It's noteworthy to know that Rav Yosef Efrati, and Rav Yaakov Ariel, two of the leading Posekim on these mitzvot both said: “People around the world who help farmers in Israel plant fruit trees will be partnering with the farmer and sharing in all the mitzvot like; orlah, neta revai, trumot, maasrot shmitta etc. and will have a Share in the bracha as well”.
