Palestinian Authority  chairman Mahmoud Abbas called a meeting Sunday night with top security officials to discuss increasing unrest, but his concern is stopping riots against his government and not at halting terrorist attacks on Israelis/

The PA’s official WAFA website reported Monday, “Abbas listened in the meeting attended by Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah and Minister of Interior Said Abu Ali to reports about efforts by the security forces to enforce security and the rule of law.”

PA security forces on Saturday arrested approximately 100 people in Jenin and other cities and villages in an effort to put an end to riots and protests that have included rock-throwing at government offices and shootings.

On Saturday night, Palestinian Authority terrorists murdered retired IDF Col. Seraya  Ofer in the his home in the Jordan Valley, but Abbas apparently did not bring up that subject for discussion.
