An Amazing Performance by the Shalva Band

On Wednesday evening, The Jewish Press had the honor to meet with Rabbi Kalman Samuels, the founder of Shalva, at an event with Prime Minister Netanyahu at the Shalva National Children's Center in Jerusalem.

Rabbi Samuels told us about the Shalva Band. We hadn't heard of them before and didn't know what to expect, but when then they got up on stage and began performing Leonard Cohen's Halleluyah, we were completely blown away.

We present below a video from their interview and performance on "The Rising Star" program, where they are competing to represent Israel in the May 2019 Eurovision contest.
