Everyone at the Ft. Hood Army Base has been ordered to "shelter in place," the base is on lock-down, as sometime late this afternoon a shooter appeared at the base and began shooting at a medical support building.

There are as yet unconfirmed reports of multiple people being shot and at least one person was injured, and one person possibly has died. This is unconfirmed.

Witnesses claimed that a white male in a gray Toyota was being sought, and that he had a 45 gun, but that is unconfirmed.

The shooter is still at large.

Yesterday there were reports that the FBI was seeking an ex-recruit who was potentially planning a "Fort Hood-inspired jihadi-style attack against U.S. soldier."

According to Fox News, the person being sought was identified as Booker and had allegedly told friends of his 'intention to commit jihad.' Booker, who is also known as Muhammad Abdullah Hassan, was recruited by the U.S. Army in Kansas City, Mo., in February 2014 and was scheduled to report for basic training on April 7. But he was discharged last week, apparently after law enforcement authorities learned of his alleged plan.

This story will be updated.
