Ashkelon Mayor, Officials, Arrested for Rape, Bribery

Ashkelon Mayor Itamar Shimoni was arrested Tuesday morning on suspicion of rape, illegal consensual relations and sexual harassment of several women, among them city employees. Also arrested Tuesday: the mayor's brother and three business people on suspicion of bribery.
