Bal Harbour Young Israel To Hold Season’s Final Scholar-in-Residence Shabbaton

Young Israel of Bal Harbour will be presenting the final Scholar-in-Residence Shabbaton of the season on Shabbos Ki Tisa, February 14 -15. The event will feature Rabbi Meir Goldwicht, a prominent Israeli scholar, educator, and the head of the new Stone Beit Medrash Program.

Friday night’s topic will be “Jerusalem, Shechem and Chevron, Yesterday and Today.” The Shabbos morning lecture will be “How to Get the Right Perspective on Life.” Shabbos afternoon will feature Minchah followed by a special seudah shelishis for men and women. The lecture will be on “Yishmael, Present and Future, in Chazal’s Perspectives.”

There will be a special Shabbos dinner served on Friday evening. The cost is $55 for adults and $35 for children. Space is limited, so reserve early.
