In the end, because of their representation of a modern, publicly observant Jewish family, Jared and Ivanka are good for the Jews. And because of a long history of hiding Jewish and opposing pro-Jewish issues, the New York Times is bad for the Jews.

There is no doubt that stepped-up attacks on Hamas and Hezbollah, which will necessarily cause civilian casualties in Gaza and Lebanon, will be met with a massive propaganda, diplomatic, and legal attack orchestrated by our European soft enemies. This is where our American ally, which still has great leverage in Europe, could step in.
Israel has decided to accept an unending war of attrition – which implies sacrificing the citizens of southern Israel, who will get no peace. Hamas demonstrated its ability to create chaos with a carefully calibrated attack in the South and threatened to extend it to the heart of the country, our leaders allowed themselves to be deterred and backed down. Hamas is in control. Hamas decides when to fan the flames and when to turn them down.

Strictly Jewish perspective putting the Democrats in power; electing new Israel haters and placing incumbent supporters of Louis Farrakhan, and anti-Israel positions in key chairmanships, American Jewry’s support of the Democratic Party is just as bad as the silence of Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi.

On November 12, 2018, the Palestinian Arabs in Gaza fired over 400 rockets into various populations centers in Israel. Buses, roads and homes were hit, killing and injuring people trying to manage their lives.
Israel could take a lesson from Donald Trump. You can’t recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, he was told, there will be unrest. You can’t move the embassy, they said, there will be riots. You can’t cut funding to UNRWA or demand that the PA stop paying terrorists. You can’t kill the Iran deal and re-impose sanctions. But he did all those things and the sky didn’t fall.
There is a serious effort being made by Russian actors to influence the social and political atmosphere in the US. The objective is to destabilize the country by encouraging extremism of both the Right and the Left, to exacerbate racial, religious, and class conflict, to stoke anger, increase polarization, encourage violence, and ultimately bring about the virtual or actual secession of segments of the population from the USA.
Do I think that we are headed towards another Holocaust? As far as the USA, I do not believe that for a moment. But what I do believe is that Jews, of any persuasion, are less and less safe every day in the USA. The attacks will continue and get more frequent and more aggressive.
I remember growing up and wondering why my grandmother would jump and go pale every-time a glass broke in the house.
You are members of the Jewish people, not citizens of the world. You have a homeland, the State of Israel. Israel doesn’t need your money, but she needs you to ensure that your nation supports her in international forums and helps maintain military superiority against her enemies. Contrary to what her enemies say, Israel is the temporal center of power of the Jewish people, and her existence deters rather than encourages worldwide acts of Jew-hatred.

Two of the alarming extremist views held by the Democratic Socialists are their desires to destroy America’s free market economy and to destroy the Jewish State of Israel.
President Trump has called for ruthless action against the Muslim AND Neo-Nazi murderers of Jews. If the media wants to sincerely oppose anti-Semitism, it could take a lesson from him.
Jew-hatred is often compared to a virus because of the way it spreads and mutates, but I prefer the analogy of diabolical possession because of the way it twists its victims and causes them to commit acts of unspeakable evil.
We should not minimize right-wing antisemitism. But too much of the news coverage in the wake of Pittsburgh has minimized all other forms of antisemitism. Muslims attacking Jews and blacks attacking Hasidim are "accepted" as, barely worth reporting.
The difference between the ADL report and the FBI Hate Crimes statistics is that the FBI only includes actual crimes, while the ADL counts "incidents" which is a much broader category.
We need to stop being naïve and innocent: anti-Semitism always was and always will be, and in most places across the world it’s getting worse. How ironic that on the very Shabbat that I was in Hebron talking about what was done to defend Jewish lives in America and how we miss Rabbi Kahane’s leadership and couragea terrible massacre occurred to innocent Jews.
the number of assaults against Jews - the most serious category the ADL tracks - went up dramatically when Obama was in office and has gone down significantly since Trump has been president.

The list of Obama’s anti-Semitism would be much longer if examples from the Obama administration’s own definition of how anti-Israel acts and statements could be considered anti-Semitic were added. Obama’s hatred of Jews met that definition also

We must strengthen our feeling of togetherness with all Jews and realize that just as Hashem is “Oheiv Amo Yisroel”, (He loves His Jewish people), so too we must reawaken and reinforce the realization that in the final analysis, we are all one family and we must all love each other, irrespective of the type of head covering we wear and irrespective of if the other Jew chooses to have no head covering..
Stop using this massacre as an excuse to pin this on ideological and political enemies. Every group has Jew-hatred associated with them in one way or another.

What kind of modern child would willingly put down their phone, turn off the tv and go outside to sweat in the sun? What for? They don’t know what hard work is and why in the world would they want to do any kind of physical labor? There is no necessity that could drive them, no demand. It could never happen. Or at least that’s what the founders of the Shomer HaChadash Youth Movement were told.
Jacobs seems to believe that he knows what’s best for Israel better than those who live here, send their children to the army, and duck when rockets are launched at them. One usually sensible journalist praised the decision to allow Alqasem to enter, because “it proves that the system works” and “showed just how democratic Israel really is.” But in fact it proved the opposite: that the system of laws does not work, because it is often overridden by considerations of public relations.

The new law sparked an uproar, mostly within the Jewish world. The question is, why? Is there something wrong with the law? In order to address these questions, we must first examine the content of the law. It is short and written in very clear language.
Media spin describes Khashoggi as a dissident. And he certainly was that. But so was his friend, Osama bin Laden. What Khashoggi wasn’t, was a moderate.

Pres. Trump, You CANNOT impose a "peace plan" on terrorists and their victims.
The people of Israel have a right to expect that the political/military establishment that it is paying so generously do its job and eliminate the threat of terror. That is, after all, in the social contract.
Israel hasn’t turned its back on Zionism. The Jewish enablers of the PLO, of the terrorist killers, have. In an Orwellian twist, they have redefined Zionism to mean the destruction of Israel. Israel’s government, which fights for the Jewish State’s survival, is therefore anti-Zionist, while the lefties who want to destroy Israel are the true Zionists. Up is down. Left is right. And a generation of terror is peace.

Kavanaugh has suffered greatly through this process and it seems to me that even if he is confirmed, his credibility and reputation have suffered a serious blow.
Given that there is far too little to corroborate the account of his accuser, and given who Kavanaugh is today, I would hope that he will be confirmed by the Senate and faithfully decide cases according to the Constitution’s original intent for many years to come.

A reminiscence of a great lesson for Rosh Hashana learned long ago on a Brooklyn playground.

These divisions weaken a group that is already fighting an uphill battle against opponents of Israel who are far more numerous, better funded, and better organized.
