Our roots are the key to our future. It is our connection to our past that enabled us to recognize that our return is not just a mere product historical outcomes, but rather a Divine decree now being carried out in reality.

As Hashem is “jubilating” over Yerushalayim “with song”- we must emulate His happiness and join Him in song and jubilation on this historic day.
As we remember Yom Yerushalayim, Jerusalem Day, it is important to remember that the city is united and free because diplomacy failed. The greatest triumph of the modern state happened only because diplomacy proved hopeless and useless in deterring Muslim genocidal ambitions.

Davka, the timing of Eurovision this year is so siyata d'Shmaya, Hand of Gd. We in Israel are celebrating seventy 70 years of Independence and a half a century of our miraculous 1967 Six Days War victory which left us with all of Jerusalem in our hands.
As long as we remember all Jerusalem stands for, we will carry her in our hearts and in our minds wherever we go, wherever we are

Today is Yom Yerushalayim, Jerusalem Day when supporters of Israel celebrate the day during the 6-Day-War when Israel reunited the holy city of Jerusalem, and for the first time in almost 20 years Jews had access to the holy sites in East Jerusalem. For me, the holiday is a split decision. I am ecstatic that Jerusalem is united, but I am saddened that I am celebrating the day here in my home office rather than in Jerusalem.

While I know that God is everywhere, for some reason only a Rabbi can explain, his presence much stronger in Jerusalem and even stronger near the Temple Mount. My proof.

In 1921 Great Britain handed the Hashemite Abdullah a very large portion of Mandated Palestine to invent a kingdom for him, all of the land east of the Jordan River. It became known as the Emirate of Transjordan. The "minor" fact that Britain had been mandated by the League of Nations to facilitate the establishment of a Jewish state was ignored.
Liberal Jews have distanced themselves from Judaism, the Jewish people, and Israel. They have very little left of their Jewish identity. But when Abbas blamed the Jews for the Holocaust, they finally had a problem.vi
These groups will, I think, tolerate naked anti-Semitism.
Though I’ve been expecting a hot war soon, recent developments are changing my mind. The strategy of deterrence and interdiction seems to be working on our northern border, and firm resistance to Hamas’ attempts to overrun our southern one seems – so far – to be effective.
Israel has the highest rate – per capita – of population growth in the developed world,” he said. “The population in Israel grows by more than 2,000,000 people each decade… Israel averages 3.1 children per family compared to just 1.7 in Western countries… Arabs average 40,000 births a year in Israel while Jews average over 100,000.”
Should it take a secular newspaper--the Wall Street Journal-- to give us Musser about what Modesty really means? I really think we need a little self-examination about what motivates our consumerism these days.

Allowing Iran a nuclear-capable long-range missile program and the expiration of nuclear restrictions were concessions made by the spineless team of Obama and Kerry. But the third item, inspections of military sites is already part of the JCPOS.
The issue that is presently driving the controversy is a series of Court decisions that have made it impossible for the government to deport any of the 38,000 African migrants that entered the country illegally since the early 2000s

This is what a hero looks like - an Israeli teenager, still in 12th grade, not yet 18. Service, putting others first, wanting to protect others. These weren’t dreams for Tzur, they were life-goals which he worked hard to fulfill, which he died fulfilling.
American Jewish progressives use their DNA to justify vicious and damaging attacks on Israel. Creating organizations intended to demonize and delegitimize the only Jewish state. And you think that because of your Jewish parentage you somehow have a special right to do this!

Arabs devote their energies to stifling human potential in their own ranks; Jews, on the other hand, devote their energies to building a nation and making it greater every day.
The Diaspora is a dead end for Jews, both physically and culturally. You can make a case for the continuance of Jewish communities in the Diaspora, and you can find many areas in which Israel needs to improve. But the necessity and centrality of the Jewish state to the continued existence of the Jewish people is indisputable.
We’ll prevail. It will be terrible for us, but more terrible for our enemies. Jewish sovereignty in the Land of Israel was not reconstituted after thousands of years to be lost after only 70.

When the agenda is to delegitimize and, ultimately destroy Israel, nothing matters. Not truth, not facts. It does not matter that these demonstrations were nothing close to peaceful. Sometimes, in Israel, the conversations you overhear are extraordinary. Sometimes, they break your heart.
it only seems reasonable in view of the extreme and violent hostility of much of the Arab population of the area to Israel and Jews, that Israel should follow Pakistan’s example and exclude “enemies of the state” from citizenship.
In recent years, the memes of Jew-hatred mutated into anti-Zionism. Instead of hating individual Jews, which is taboo, it’s possible to hate their collective expression of identity in the form of the Jewish state
Every committed Jew desires the return of the Bet HaMikdash – the Holy Temple, the House of God – on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. But even before that, Korban Pesach, the Passover Offering, can be brought. There are no halachic – Jewish Law – problems, to prevent it from being carried out properly.
The UN Human Rights Council passed five more anti-Israel resolutions last week. This was not a great surprise.

Israel is a family. Family doesn’t put members in a closet to make their own lives easier, and families love all of their members, finding the best in each other and helping each other grow. Just as we would not leave one of our own children behind, it would be inappropriate to leave someone else’s child behind – even if he or she needs a little more help to keep up.
