Earthquake Rattles the Dead Sea

An earthquake that registered 3.8 on the Richter scale shook the Dead Sea area. The quake took place just after noon, on Wednesday.

The epicenter was in the Dead Sea basin, in the southern Dead Sea region, at a depth of 1 kilometer, east of Ein Bokeq.

There were some smaller, 3.6 earthquakes in the Red Sea earlier in the day.
