Every Soldier to Jerusalem

Beginning next year, the IDF will be implementing a program where every new recruit will visit and tour Jerusalem during their first year of service.

A four-month pilot program was just completed, and 12,000 soldiers visited the country's capital as part of the trial, according to the IDF spokesperson.

The plan is to introduce the soldiers to a wide range of sites in Jerusalem, and for the soldiers to understand why they are serving.
