Former Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver Released To Home Confinement

We are happy to note that Sheldon Silver, who for decades so effectively championed the cause of Jewish rights in New York State government, has been furloughed and released to home confinement. We are grateful that he will now be able to better address his serious medical issues.
